Reduced Fat Biscuit Mix
Ingredients
- 6 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
Directions
First, stir flour and baking powder together. Then, cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembled coarse crumbs. After that, store in a container with a tight-fitting lid.

2. Is the recipe healthy? How do you know? Yes it is, because the ingredients used are low-fat and it is very good for our body.
3. Does the text use sequence words? Why do you think so? Yes it is, because the text is part of a recipe so it has to be sequential so that the reader can easily understand and easily follow the recipe written by the author.

Tips to Reduce Salt
Salt is hidden in many of our foods, but a high salt diet can contribute to a range of health problems including high blood pressure. Here are some suggestions to reduce salt.
1. Don't automatically add salt to your food. Taste it first.
2. Add a splash of olive oil, vinegar, or lemon juice close to the end of cooking time or to cooked vegetables. It can enhance flavours in the same way as salt.
3. Choose fresh vegetables.
4. Limit your consumption of salty processed meats.
5. Use iodised salt.
6. Avoid processed foods such as flavoured instant pasta or noodles, salty crackers, chips, and salted nuts.
7. Reduce your use of soy sauce, tomato sauce, and processed sauces, stock powders and condiments, such as mayonnaise and salad dressings because they contain high levels of salt.
4. Why should we reduce salt in our meals? To reduce high blood pressure.
5. Based on the tips, what shouldn't we do? Overuse of salt and ingredients known to be high in salt such as soya sauce, ketchup and processed sauces, stock powders and condiments such as mayonnaise and salad dressings.
