My favorite athlete is Rafael Nadal. He is a professional tennis player from Spain. For me, he is very inspirational.

Rafa really loves headbands. When he plays, he wears a headband. He started wearing them when he got seriously into tennis at about 13 years old. He has got dozens of them in lots of different colors. Most athletes have tattoos, but Rafa does not like them. He also does not like piercings.

Away from the court, Rafa always wears casual clothes, such as jeans and a T-shirt or a polo shirt teamed with a jacket. Like a lot sportsmen, he often finds it difficult to find a pair of trousers that fits him well. He has muscular thighs and calves and a thin waist, so trousers very often don't fit. He usually ends up wearing the bigger pair and holding them up with a belt.

Rafa likes listening to music and traveling. He usually listens to his favorite Spanish and Latin artist any time he wants. He likes listening to both styles of music before he goes on court as they are upbeat and energetic. They get him in the mood. He also loves Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. He also loves traveling by boat. He likes to drive the boat very much, but he often has a captain to drive him. He usually has sailing trips with his friends and his family. Every year, he takes few days just with his friends or family to go around the islands and have a lot of fun.
