Do you have a microwave at home? A microwave has become an essential appliance in every household. It helps you both heat and cook food. Now, let me show you 1) the step to start using your microwave. First, read the user manual 2) to know more about your microwave.

Every brand and model has its own functions. By reading other the manual, you will know the pre-set programs, power usage, cleaning procedures, and other information. Second, 3) plug in your microwave and set the time. 4) Do not plug in several devices at once. You can set in the timer by either pressing the number buttons or turning the knob as per your microwave.

Third, put the food 5) in a microwave safe utensil only. The best thing to do is to use the utensils that came along with the microwave. Fourth, 6) use a thick lid made of durable plastic that is designed for use in the microwave to cover the food. Make sure that the food is placed in the centre of the glass ring.

Fifth, 7) let the food head. Do not open the microwave until the program has run its due course. However, 8) use the star/stop button or pause button if you have to stop the program in between.
