2. Information reports have a variety of patterns and contain various types of information. They can classify information into different categories or examine the components and various aspects of an object. What skills do the readers get after reading Information reports? 3. Listen and complete the following monologue!

A digital camera is a device that (1) takes pictures like a regular camera, but stores the image as data instead of printing it to film. Many digital cameras are capable of (2) recording video in addition to taking photos. A digital camera has (3) some main parts, such as battery compartment, flash capacitor, flash lamp, LED, lens, focusing mechanism, image sensor, USB connector, SD card slot, processor chip, wrist connector, and top case. It has a rear-mounted LCD screen that allows the users to see their photos and videos immediately after (4) they have been taken. This screen can also make it easier to frame the pictures. A digital camera can store thousands of pictures. It also gives the users instant photographs, allows them to edit the pictures and makes it easier for them to (5) share photos using cell phones, e-mail, and websites. Because a digital camera does not need a place for film, it takes up far less space and (6) can easily be carried in the pocket or purse.
